Round three of our series of mixes recorded live from the hallowed walls of The Shift Shack comes to you from Nialler9.

Nialler cut loose during the small hours of Saturday at ALS ’19 with a selection of tunes that kept the shack nice and cosy – as it should be.

Niall Byrne (a.k.a Nialler9) is the writer at the helm of the most-read Irish music site Nialler9.com, where he writes about new music. He lives in Dublin, Ireland.
He can also frequently be found DJing around Dublin city including Lumo, a monthly club night or hosting Nialler9-curated music events.
His DJ sets feature melodic electronic music with a penchant for current anthems and a curve-ball classic.

Another Love Story is consistently my favourite of the summer festivals.
In these isolating times, it’s those kinds of experiences I’m yearning for – DJing, dancing, chatting and hanging with pals til the early morning. The Shift Shack’s tiny setup means that you can play anything you want as there’s always a squeeze of people going for it.
This hour started with me not knowing where I was going with the tunes and ending up on a big bicep-flexing ’80s Italo / fun buzz before going on some big piano house / Jon Hopkins buzz and then into the euphoric That’s The Way Love Is by Ten City.
Love. Love. Love.”
